Today at my daughter's soccer game my son saw a friend whom he played against at least twice a season in soccer. In addition the boys went to private kindergarten together at our church. Here is how the conversation went:
Boy's mother: Well hello Jack. How have you been? We have not seen you at soccer games this year.
Jack's Response: Yeah, I have retired from soccer.
I have heard of early retirement but at the age of 7 and hanging up the cleats?!?!?
